Why do you need 2 copies of my house keys?
If you plan on being a repeat customer, we recommend you keep TWO working copies of your house keys on file for your convenience - one set for daily use and the other set for backup. The backup key is stored securely in a lockbox at our office and used only in case of emergency (such as a broken or lost key). If you choose not to keep your keys on file at the initial consultation, a $10 fee will be charged for each pickup and dropoff of keys.

What does it mean that you are insured and bonded?
Our clients depend on us to take care of their pets and home while in our care. Being insured and bonded ensures peace of mind for our clients. We carry liability insurance that protects you and all our clients from financial loss in the event an injury or accident occurs while caring for your pets. A bond or employee dishonesty coverage protects you as a client in the event of theft by an employee.

Can you let me know how my pet is doing while I'm away?
Absolutely. We will be happy to send you an email, text or voicemail updates at the end of the day, if you like. Of Course, you are always welcome to call us anytime! In the event that we are not immediately available, please leave a message, and we will promptly return your call. We also write a detailed daily pet journal for you to read upon your return.

Do you walk dogs in inclement weather?
Absolutely! For your dog’s safety and our own, we shorten walks a bit in extreme hot (temperatures of 90° F and above) and extreme cold weather (temperatures below freezing and unsafe icy conditions). We will gladly spend the visit’s remaining time indoors with your dog playing with their favorite toys and games. We will use our judgment in case of heavy rain, hail or other extreme weather to best ensure your dog's well-being and care.
